Festival Ticket Frenzy

Ticket frenzy

Many keen festival goers were highly disappointed recently when the first batch of BreakbreakLive tickets went on sale, at an ‘early-bird’ price and due to the high demand for the tickets, the servers crashed!

BeachBreak Live is a music festival situated in Pembrey Country Park in South Wales. It began as a small unknown festival developed by a bunch of university students, and has grown into a huge celebration of musical acts from all over the world!

This music festival, unlike most others, is targeted mainly towards students. They offer a student discount on tickets, and provide a service whereby students can pay a deposit on their ticket when first released, and gradually pay for the rest of the ticket over a certain period of time…ideal for students on a low budget!

And, like various other festivals, BeachBreak Live offer an ‘early-bird’ batch of tickets, which are sold at a lower price. BeachBreak’s early bird tickets were released on January 15th 2013, and unfortunately, with such high interest and demand for these tickets at the lowest price of £89, the website couldn’t handle the amount of traffic and their servers crashed!

This crash was at a crucial time and would have caused confusion and disappointment for many people trying to purchase their bargain ticket!! A website such as the BeachBreak site should consider investing in a CDN such as the one we at CDNify provide in order to increase their consumer satisfaction and to save any future disappointment!

Hopefully those of whom were unfortunate enough to miss out on the cheaper tickets will forgive BeachBreak for this server breakdown and be willing to pay the extra £10 for the next batch of tickets!
