Ionic: Open Source HTML5 Framework

For those of you that have been living under the deep blue sea for the last year, you may not have have heard of an amazing framework called Ionic.

Iconic is an open-source front-end framework for building hybrid mobile apps with HTML5. Created by both Max Lynch and Ben Sperry, who are also the guys behind Drifty, the company that build fantastic products like Jetpack and Codiqa.

We chat with Max about raising millions of dollars through funding, performance benefits of Ionic, and Bootstrapping vs funding. We also talk about the new Ionic Creator: An easier way to visualise and build Iconic apps.
